      STORE MANAGER - WEST EDMONTON MALL - EDMONTON, AB

      The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations. The main goal of the Store Manager is to maximize sale opportunities while ensuring that the team and customers are satisfied.

      POSITION DESCRIPTION

      • Monitor sales and implement action plans in order to exceed sales budget

      • Motivate and inspire team to provide exemplary customer service and sales

      • Provide ongoing training and feedback on sales performance, customer service and operational tasks

      • Conduct recruitment process, which includes interviewing, training and reviews

      • Create and maintain merchandising presentation throughout store

      • Minimize unnecessary costs with proper scheduling & controlled expenses

      • Complete inventory counts and oversee operational measures to minimize shrinkage

      • Reconciliation of cash, sales receipts, daily paperwork and other duties

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience or equivalent experience

      • Post-secondary education in hospitality, retail or related discipline is an asset

      • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written

      • Attention to detail plus organizational skills and ability to multitask

      • Ability to work with minimal supervision

      • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand for long periods of time

      • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, security camera system and POS systems

      POSITION DETAILS

      • Full Time availability with a minimum of 40 hours per week

      • Standing for long periods of time, using ladders and lifting boxes
